The Kiwanis Club of Orchard Park, along with the Boys & Girls Club of Orchard Park are proud to announce the Terrific Kids program. The Terrific Kids is a student recognition program that promotes character development, self-esteem, and perseverance.

Field Trip
On July 22, 2009, The Boys & Girls Club of Orchard Park was invited to participate in Camp Old Navy at the McKinley Parkway location in Blasdell. Twelve members plus two staff members took a field trip to Old Navy, where they had the opportunity to learn about jobs in the retail field. The Camp was a huge eye-opener for our members, showing them that they could work in retail. Our girls were excited to learn about what goes on behind the scenes at stores, like shipping, ordering, stocking, and cash transactions. Members learned how to run the cash registers, and were given a tour of all the store’s operations.

The Club recognized Club members for their athletic, social/recreational, educational and arts achievements for the past program year. This special event also honored our 2009 Youth of the Year, Ryan Cole.

This award was presented to Bobby at the Annual Awards Night on May 26, 2009. This is the most prestigious honor bestowed upon the organization for Bobby's devotion and service that has impacted the lives of the youth of the Boys & Girls Club of Orchard Park.
We thank you for everything that you have done for the club and the community and your many years of service at the Boys & Girls Club of Orchard Park.
